A dull, dull read.
Sadly.

I grabbed this because the cover was gorgeous and the blurb sounded intriguing enough. Sadly, that’s where the intrigue ended. This book is written in 100% ‘telling’ style, instead of showing, hence being extremely dull.

I wanted to like this so much and have a new author to binge but … it’s just not for me. This isn’t bad per se … it’s just … soooo slow-paced and boring.
