While Dune Messiah was a good follow up to Dune and the storyline of Paul, it now makes more sense and fits as a perfect interlude for progressing the story into Children of Dune. Leto II and Ghanima carry the torch further into the realms of oddity and make for an intriguing read. Good pacing that finishes strong.
