Men Have Called Her Crazy by Anna Marie Tendler

4.0

Anna knew what stories she wanted to tell us (and they were interesting stories and ones that were good to tell!) but she didn’t know what exactly we were supposed to take from them.

Her obsessions with hating men went beyond “I get it girl” to “okay I get it, let’s talk about something else” and never got to a point. I never got any growth from the reflection of relations about men. Feels kind of like a missed target for her book to center 85% on her interactions and relationships with men without any solid conclusion. Like, not even a girl power one??

(3.5 but rounding up)
