Vendetta in Death by J.D. Robb

4.0

I always like to start with saying how much I’ve always enjoyed this series and here #49 did not disappoint.

As per usual, the book starts with murder and it is not pretty. Things move at warp speed in the world of Eve Dallas, but here the killer is moving just as fast.

While I most assuredly figured out the killer as quickly as Eve, how she was going to stop them was a mystery. Someone has killed by cutting off a man’s penis and testicles and the ride goes from there. Once again men doing crappy things to women bring Eve’s past back but not as much as you might think. Here someone is killing abusive, cheating, rapists and while no one feels that sorry, taking the law into your own hands is a huge anathema to Eve and Peabody so off they go to find Lady Justice, as the killer signs the notes on the bodies, before more men are murdered.

Get some Eve Dallas and Company in your life, they make for interesting and fun escape.
