My So-Called Sex Life: How to Date Your Enemy by Lauren Blakely, Lauren Blakely

4.0

I struggle to read about bookish things in books but I absolutely loved the dynamic between Hazel and Axel. The sarcastic come backs and banter had me living and breathing this relationship but it had one too many cringe moments for me, the constant references to book sex really took me out of the story. If it had only happened the once I would have brushed it off but I kept picking it out of a scene kind of like when you notice someone saying 'umm' too much when making a speech and everything else just becomes a blur...
Saying all of the above didn't take away from the chill I felt while reading this book, it made me smile and laugh and it was just easy to fall in love with these characters and side characters.

Lauren Blakely is a author I will most definitely be looking to reading more of!
