A Throne of Wings and Embers by Emilia Jae
4.0
“I will chase you to the ends of the world and beyond.“
“Anything is possible if you are willing to barter for its asking price.”
“Give them hell, my little rebel princess.”
“Speak that way about my wife one more time, and you will regret those words.”
Great ending to The Forbidden Heir trilogy.
The book continues to follow the familiar characters from the previous two books. There was again a lot happening and a lot at stake. The story is told in multiple pov and I think that the multi-pov storytelling worked nicely for the plot.
I enjoy the author’s writing style and how she’s able to make the reader feel like they’re in the middle of the action.
Overall, this book wrapped up the series nicely, giving all the characters the ending they deserved.
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.
