Honestly, it's my favorite omegaverse of the year! It takes a newer romance trope, flips it on its head, and makes it so original. So, in this omegaverse, Juneau is our omega. Not only is she our omega, but she was born in 1915! She doesn't fit in. Her family wants her to pick a pack and marry, but she does not click with anyone. One night, she falls through a mirror and into 2022, where she meets a pack that just happens to be everything she ever wanted. The book focuses on them meeting each other, coming to terms with the fact that she fell through a mirror, trying to figure out how to put her back where she came from, fighting their feelings, and also, you know, dealing with a motorcycle gang drama! It was wild, and I couldn't put it down! Calliope Stewart has it formatted so well; each character has its own character image at the beginning of each chapter, and I love it so much. There's also a group picture of all of the characters together. It was just amazing. Then, on top of it all, this is the first book of the series, and the next one is Eleanor, and I cannot wait to get my hands on it. I'm curious if there will be any overlap between the books. I don't see how, other than that, she comes to 2022/2023. Anyway, this book explains how all of the magic works. Still, it is very light magic, and this book honestly needs way more love/attention because it is fantastic!
