I liked the idea and overall concept of the book, and I think the storyline has potential. The different realms of Hell were interesting, and I would love to learn more about them.
The first half of the book was great, but after that, the plot got quite repetitive and, unfortunately, a bit boring at times. It was also quite easy to guess what was going to happen in the end.
Nice, promising start to a series. I personally would prefer the story itself, the characters, and the world to have a bit more depth. I found the world to be a bit underdeveloped, and the world-building was rushed.
The trials sounded interesting, and I would love to learn more about them. For example, a dual-pov with Kenna and Sora or some other way to see what happens during the trials would be great.
I’m interested to see where the story goes next.
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.
