The Bride Has Been A Boy
But now she is no longer one. She transitioned. From the time as a young guy to through the process of not only going through life but also the highs and lows and even red tape of being a young trans woman in japan.
I really liked this manga. Chi is honest and cute! And not just because the chiba characters are like that. Through the pages I could see not only the fear of always having that issue (I'm in same place, just I'm ft) it's really good to see the supprt that this author is around. A beautiful memoir that shows love is possible for members of the trans community. Just nagged that costly surgeries both for finances and potential death has to be taken in order to just be seen as themselves.
