I unfortunately did not really like reading this. It's not very easy to put my finger quite on why I didn't. 
There's some issues with character motivations for me. And I could not get over the complete 360 Rin & Nehza's relationship does - compared to book 1; I had to pretend he was a new character. I felt Rin was just so naive/gullible throughout too. 

The plot was kind of interesting but all the above made it still a bit of a slog to read....
