A wonderful job. Lovely variety of voices.

ARTICULATION  - clean and clear
BREATHING – controlled, volume, consistent, project appropriate, mouth noise is evident in some areas but doesn’t take away from the overall performance.

EYE BRAIN MOUTH CONTROL – accurate and effortless delivery.
CONSISTENT – high energy, good articulation, breath and pitch control.
ANALYSIS – understands the story arc and characters.
CHARACTERISATION – brings to life. Distinct and consistent in tone, attitude, age, accent. Voices match characters.
SEPARATION- clear and decisive for all performers.
INVESTMENT – the emotional connection helps with visualisation.

Ok, overall I loved this duology. These 2 books are definitely a recommendation for an audio read. I did, in my humble opinion, find the 2nd book a little drawn out. I had all these thoughts running through my head about what was going to happen, who stole what and who found what, but they didn’t pan out the way my feeble brain was working. The epilogue from Becker’s POV was a great way to end the series.

I also found those little “Easter Eggs” of things to come in JEM future books endearing. Such as little key words and passing ideas that I have found front and centre in her later work. Finding this things makes me smile and wonder if things were ticking away in her mind subconsciously.

Well worth the audio read.
