I didnt expect to cry, but this entire book made me feel things. maybe could've been shorter, but every time I picked it up, I flew through sections. this was my firs SJM novel and I expected a lot more sexual content based on previous reviews of her work overall, but this one took quite a long time to get to that point. a slight slow burn romance, lots of action, i just had a lot of fun with it.

took me forever to read, but thats only because the pandemic hit right after I started it, so it took a bit for me to get back into it. excited to start book 2, though!
