Being back in Selennia and aboard the Bartered Soul stirred up in my heart why I love this series so much. This journey is unique and this novella honors the harsh reality of the beginning of this story. Erik is a softy who is having whiplash from falling so hard so quickly for a copper-haired priestess. Siobhan greets freedom with warmth and growth. I love what we began to see here of her.

LB, I'm not going to lie, I would LOVE to see where these characters go after the series ends as well ;)

I highly recommend this novella to anyone who has read Andromeda's Account. And if you haven't, please read, at least the first book, but better if all three, prior to this.
