I say this every time I read one of her books, but I freaking love SJ Tilly. I have yet to read a book by her that I did not enjoy. I especially loved that this book contained a boss babe - not that the other books didn't, but Nat is a loaded corporate boss babe and we love to see it. This book did have the miscommunication trope but honestly it was really well done and made sense for the characters. I will say I think we saw more character development from Natalie than Luke, but she was kind of the star of this show and Luke was kind of along for the ride. At least that's what it felt like. I feel like we got a deeper look into Nat's emotions than Luke's. I loved how the author incorporated characters from her other series in this book, and I feel like at the end there was a potential hint at another book in the Darling Lake series which made me excited. Overall, I really enjoyed this book as I have all other SJ Tilly books.
