And I thought Empire of Shadows couldn't be topped!
Tomb of the Sun King is such an interesting interpretation of Egyptian history that explores just how complex humans really are. Seeing how characters that were briefly mentioned in the first book get fleshed out in this book was truly amazing, and of course, Ellie and Adam's relationship only blossomed further.
I cannot thank Jacquelyn Benson enough, not only for a copy of this delightful read, but also for creating such an interesting and diverse range of characters to add to this world based on history, theories, religion, and imagination.
