“I didn’t…. Dislike it”

Actually that’s a lie. While the overall plot is interesting and a lot happens in this book that was exciting and opened up for a great finale, It’s also 600+ pages of slow character building that makes you dislike the characters, REALLY poorly timed spice scenes (I.e. in the middle of a slaughter), an oafish character who’s POV chapters really live up to his brain cell capacity, and missing plot points that should’ve been present (hello, Rissa? Lu? Argo?). Will I read the final book? Probably, I’ve committed this far and I’m nothing if not a glutton for punishment with bad books.
