A swoony, sweet enemies to lovers, brother's best friend romance. While it started slow and took me a while to connect with the characters, once the communication flowed better, I started to enjoy it a lot. I really liked Sunny as a heroine and I loved her relationships with various people. I also really liked Beckett and I felt for him and the pressure he was feeling, given the circumstances. I thought Sunny and Beckett were great characters overall and I felt the chemistry between them as a couple (especially the banter)!
The two aspects that kept me from 5 starring this book was the pace (I found the first half slow) and the repetition (especially at the beginning, I think cutting it would've helped with the length).
Overall, however, this is a great book with the right amount of sweet and steamy moments.
Thank you to Kate Canterbary for an arc in exchange for my honest review.
