This was a fun, enjoyable romcom and it was so incredibly diverse! I really loved that part of this book.

We follow Nina, who distances herself from her life & friends after a nasty break-up. That is until she has to meet one of the actresses she writes emails for and she seems to be everything Nina needs to get her life back.

I have to reiterate; this book was incredibly diverse! We have a sapphic main character, who also has many lesbian friends and one non-binary friend (we do meet some other people on the LGBTQIAP+ spectrum, but they don’t play large roles). I loved this so much!! It was so refreshing to read a fun romcom with a sapphic relationship.

The writing style was also very nice. Most of the chapters are quite short, which made it very easy to read and you never wanted to stop reading.
It did take me some time to get into the story as Nina isn’t the happiest person when the book starts, but after Ari (the romantic interest) is introduced, the story starts flowing quite nicely.

I loved every character so much. They all really contributed something to the story and they felt like such a nice group of friends to hang out with.
I found Nina a very relatable character. She has some issues after her last breakup and some of the stuff she goes through or how she thinks about herself hit close to home for me. I had tears in my eyes more than once.
But it definitely wasn’t a sad story, on the contrary. It’s very hopeful, queer positive and also quite funny!

I really recommend this book if you’re looking for a funny, positive romcom with a diverse cast of characters & a sapphic main romance, that also tackles some harder topics.

Thank you Netgalley for the e-arc.
