The blurb sounded interesting, but the writing style wasn’t for me.

I liked having the character introductions with character art at the beginning of the book, but even with those I had a hard time distinguishing the characters and at times I was confused about who was who, which of the characters was saying or doing something, who was related to whom, etc.

I usually like multi-POV storytelling, but with this book, the constant POV changes between too similar characters, with some of them having multiple names/nicknames made it a bit of a struggle for me to understand what was going on.

I’m usually a fan of why choose, but unfortunately in this book the why choose element wasn’t working for me. Maybe again the characters were too similar to each other. Also I personally didn’t feel the connection or chemistry between the characters.

I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.
