Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin

I didn't think I was going to like this as much as I did. The writing is so good, and while I'm not a gamer, I found all the conversations about making games and the gaming industry in this book fascinating. The characters were deeply flawed and sometimes made me want to scream at them to communicate and be honest with each other, but their struggles, insecurities, and mistakes felt so realistic that it was easy to root for them. I was so invested in each of them and their relationship. I think it's their relationship, above everything else, the complicated, unbreakable bond between them that made me love this book. To me, this was a bittersweet story with a hopeful ending.
