This was a BOTM pick last year, and October was the perfect time to read it. Overall, this was a good popcorn thriller. I wasn’t as scared as I thought I’d be, but still good.

I liked the premise and the setting. I kept forgetting it was set in Australia until the casual references to kangaroos
