Definitely one of, if not the, best sapphic book I've read so far. I absolutely loved Stevie! She's so cute and I'm a sucker for second-hand embarrassment when it's done right and this was definitely done perfectly. I also thought she was the perfect calm and quiet to Iris's storm. They balance each other out so well.
I also loved that Iris's character developed so much. She learned that she wasn't actually happy, learned to be more introspective of her feelings, and learned to stand up for what she wants even if she's scared to. And she wasn't the only one to have major development. Stevie also learned how to go after what she wants as someone with major anxiety. It was so amazing to see and really good writing.
It was so nice to see the characters from the previous novels here too. I missed Claire a lot and
her and Delilah's wedding made me cry.
I was so happy for them.
This was such a good book, I loved the characters, the plot, the second-hand embarrassment, the pacing, the fake-dating troupe, even the
third-act break up.
it was so good. The best out of this series and I'm sad to leave them behind now.
