Freed by Stacey Kennedy

5.0

While Freed is the fourth book in the Club Sin series by Stacey Kennedy, it can easily be read as a standalone novel. This was the first book that I have read in the series but I plan to enjoy more of them in the near future.

Lately I've read a couple book that I consider to be 'sweet BDSM' books, this one however has been the best of the bunch! While this book has some electrically charged BDSM play all throughout the book, it also has a soft/sadder feel to it as Mary explores her feelings about moving on after the death of her husband. Stacey Kennedy did a marvelous job of writing this story in such a way that you'll blood with be pumping with erotic images one moment, then the next you're on the verge of tears from the connection that Mary last when her husband passed.

I have a soft spot for Dominant men who want to cherish the woman that he's with, and Elliot fit that bill perfectly. This book is written from the POV of Both Mary and Elliot, which only strengths your connection to them both as they struggle to get what they want out of life. Be ready for an emotional ride within this book, both inside of the bedroom and out.

*I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion*
