I read this book with few expectations for two reasons:
1. I love Carrie so much but she's still young and this is her first novel
2. Here in Italy, 'Youtubers novels' are written by ghostwriteres

BUT

I really like this book.
As many of you said in their review is kinda clear that Evie and Vincent are Carrie and Pete. They look alike in everything and the only thing that makes me sad is that now they're not a couple anymore.
I find the story of Evie really interesting and her choices in life very brave and the all setting very very beautifully described.
I'm not a huge fan of magical realisms and in fact it was weird for me to read it in the "real life world" so I guess that if she just put it in the Heaven part if would be better.

In the end (yeah i'm not really good at reviews) I liked it! There are some things that I didn't like but Carrie's writing style is very good for her age and the story was amazing!

Favorite character: probably Jim! He's such a good and understanding friend and husband ❤️ + Isla because she's sassy 🔪
Favorite ship/OTP: I really like Evie and Jim far more then Evie and Vincent!
