Holy shit. As you may be able to tell, I’m finally getting around to reading the last couple years of top SF/F books and holy shit. I’ve put the sequel on hold already, but holy cow this was just… The perfect amount of (really bizarre!!!) worldbuilding with plot, some last second twists that made me flip back to the first section to go “OH YEAH”, and a protagonist who I was rooting for (at least to figure out how much of a bag of dicks her superiors are).
