This is a romance FANTASY. Both Laurie and Jack are just so out of touch. They only know how to complain and moan and bitch about life. Jack is just a massive arsehole right from the beginning and I don’t see any attractive quality of Laurie to be so loved and devoted by two guys. I totally can’t imagine shipping the two of them. They have never spent time with just each other for more than 8 hours in ten years and yet claiming they are  each others’ love of the life ? It’s more like “you always want what you never have”. Both are just so unlikable characters. That Sarah is just a pretty yet soppy side kick. And I only sympathise with Amanda and Oscar.
