Kathryn Williams’ portrayal of the teenage mind in this coming of age story is genuinely one of the loveliest ones I’ve ever read. It rings similar to her equally as lovely novel 'The Debutante' and will capture the attention of fans of Sarah Dessen novels or The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

Sometimes when we browse through the shelves in the local bookstores Young Adult section we forget to look for those simplistic, but touching, coming of age stories that don’t feature several love triangles, supernatural creatures or abilities, or even ones that take place in the distant future. This isn't a novel you want to pass up, I promise.

Light, funny, sweet and overall a great read. Check up on it, kids.
