Dickens and Prince: A Particular Kind of Genius by Nick Hornby
4.0
Weird parallels and kind of a stretch, at times; but Hornby delivering this info in his usual voice was fine. Some of his takes in this book, particularly in regards to The Great Purple One, are not exactly fine by me. But he does give credit where credit is due in all aspects to both of these incredible creators, even ending with saying he has pictures of them both on his office wall and plans to keep them there for perpetuity. Inspiration, for Hornby, at least in part, seems to be driven by those who continually produced and worked like what they've just created is never enough.
