How, just HOW could I have waited two and a half years to continue on this series?!

Yesterday, I finally gave in and read Gathering Darkness on my Kindle, breaking my oath to read this series only on physical pages. Do I regret it? A bit. But what I regret more is not reading this sooner.

To put it frankly, this blew me away. I almost forgot how complicated and fascinating the plot is, most especially the characters. Besides the on point character developments, I couldn't - for the life of me - follow their hearts and it gives me such pleasure to be caught off guard by whom they fall for. Most books are predictable on this department but in the Falling Kingdoms series, where there are so many characters running around, I don't know which ship is going to be canon or not... or even if it's going to stay canon! It's so refreshing!!!

To end my rambling, it is very safe to say I still sing praises for this series (please don't turn sour later on or end badly!) and am absolutely thrilled to continue on it.

...also quite positive I have fallen in love with two particular characters... I just hope they fall in love with each other, too. LOL.
