I was very surprised by how much i liked this. I was afraid it was going to be a unrealistic teen drama like Riverdale or Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, but its really now. Theres a lot of understanding and emotional growth of the characters, especially Maeve. While i do not know much about the craft, I felt that the author was really respectful about the way she handled modern witchcraft and its authenticity for those who practice it. This story overall was very intriguing. Cant wait to get the second and third book.
