The Father of Her Child by Emma Darcy

5.0

*Such a heady book!*

A very humorous book, with the quip about Travolta (a fan of his work!) and a healthy dose of feminism blended into the storyline. Even if the H/h weren't authors, it gave a glimpse to the inside workings of an author's life (aside from the writing part) albeit in today's scenario, it encompasses many other jobs as well, a change due to the technological and social media age. I particular liked the charming H as well as the early-on grovelling session, loved how perceptive the H (Michael) is, how he takes care of the h (Lauren). What's not to like in this book - the strong picturisation of Lauren and especially loved the way he threatened her ex, it was just hilarious!

After a long time, found a M&B with the appropriate title, the book's all about how the h discovers the person that the H (the father of her child) really is and also how the H proves himself that he's the one she can trust and love!

"It gave her a very warm glow to know that he wanted her so much, fighting for her, looking after her, taking care of everything for her."

Well, who doesn't want that!
