Woo! She's back!
Holly Black was the first author I became really obsessed with. To say I have been disappointed by how dumbed down her YA has become would be an understatement--the newest Fae series a prime example of her fall from brilliance.
This book is not that. Welcome back to the gritty, edgy, dark writing the OG fans have come to know and love and expect from Black. If you, like me, are a big fan of her work pre-cruel Prince, you'll be pleased.
