5⭐️ wowwowowow I love every part of this book. Easy world building and magic (obsessed with the Parisian/french influence), phenomenal banter, a TRUE enemies to lovers trope (stabby FMCs will forever be my favorite), and heartbreaking cliffhanger ending—what more could you ask for?? The audiobook features absolutely fantastic narration by Freddy Carter and Emily Carey. The way I need book two is consuming me in an unhealthy way.
