"He’s my mate. He’s my life."
You cannot tell me that this isn't a Tarzan-esque book!!
Jag is the protector of the junkyard, the one that everyone says is weird because of his nature and how he is.
Dane ends up where he shouldn't but did he really? Once he is caught, he can't leave.
The parallels in this book to Tarzan to me are spot on, except make it MM so it's good.
Jag had me intrigued in Scum and now that I have gotten his story it makes all that much more sense and just love him more.
Dane was unexpected but a welcome surprise none the less. The way that we see him approach Jag and goes through the process of what he has been through to get to where he is is a great build up to the core of the relationship that is building.
Even though Jag & Dane are complicated at first it slowly evens out and is pretty clear where it is going until it didn't. I was worried it was going to take a different turn because of things that happen. It creates a snowball effect.
You get the "you're mine" in this one in LOADS.. haha literally!
Who doesn't love a good primal play and size difference, yes please!
Super hero talk is a major plus
Teaching Jag about the world outside of the fence of the junkyard is adorable!
And we get to see Ros & Shane too!
Truly adored this book, probably not the word some might describe because of things that happen (ahem enter MC enforcer ;) ) but I really enjoyed it and cannot wait for Book 3.
