Eye of the Needle by Ken Follett
4.0
I thought this spy-thriller was both enjoyable to read and a wonderful evocation of wartime England. For all Lucy's failures as a character including her infidelity and her obtuseness (who could mistake a stiletto and a fishing knife?), she redeems herself with that ending. This won't be the last Follett I tackle this year since I plan on taking on one of his massive Century trilogy books and the second in his Kingbridge series.
