It’s a cute romance but 1. I wish the author would stop using the word “oily” to describe the slick because it doesn’t sound sexy to me. It just reminds me of the oil that sometimes gets clogged in a dog’s anal glands 🥴 and 2. it has a trope that I can’t stand where

someone runs away due to misunderstandings/ attacks from an outer party trying to break up a relationship without even trying to clear it up first. that shit irks my nerves to no end 😭
