Astrid Parker Doesn't Fail by Ashley Herring Blake
4.0
3. 5 Stars.
I really liked the first book in this series, so I decided to read all three novels. This seemed to start out as an enemies-to-lovers trope, but I feel like it settled mostly into miscommunication, which is one of my least favorite plot devices.
I like the backdrop of design and a home renovation, and I like Jordan as a character. There were some messy characters that didn't add much - *cough Meredith *cough*. But overall, this was sweet and I am here for all the cheesy romance.
It's a good book, solidly three stars, but I am giving an extra .5 star because the grand gesture was truly wonderful. I loved how that came together. I am off the finish the trilogy and see what's in store for Iris Kelly, but she is the character I like the least, so I don't have high hopes.
