Very strange book very unique. What I found interesting, was that even though Gregor supported his entire family and worked at a job he hated to pay off his father's debt when he was the one in need his family abandoned him. The resentfulness of the father having to go back to work is anger-inducing. All the while Gregor is depressed and losing himself and his humanity. Interesting theme and it is a short and quick read but overall wasn't engaging or wanting to read more
