Absolutely gorgeous story about a young girl learning tough lessons about herself, her identity, life, friendship, family, and love. I really appreciated the different perspective Malinda Lo offers by putting this novel in the context of the Red Scare. Definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes a good love story.
