I've heard so much hype for this series that I'm excited to finally be picking it up, but I'll be honest, this first novella didn't quite live up to my expectations! Between the insta-love and my general dislike for Logan's character, it was tough to buy into the relationship. I didn't feel any chemistry between them (other than their unappeasable lust for one another) and I didn't appreciate Logan being as intrusive as humanly possible by constantly showing up uninvited and unannounced. I mean, you guys have been dating for what, a week, and he's showing up pounding on your door late at night without telling you he's coming over? Yikes. That'd be an instant "hell nah" from me.

On a happier note, I enjoy Lana's motive and I like Jake as a character, so I'm hoping that the focus on her "mission" will keep me engaged throughout the rest of this series.
