I really wanted to get into this book because the premise is fascinating, but I felt like there were a lot of moving parts and storylines piling on top of one another. I was also expecting more of a slow burn when it came to the two worlds colliding, but the characters acted like it was completely normal.
Those things aside, I liked Lily and Reagan's relationship as it slowly grew. There were some touching moments. I also like the concept of the world and the people and creatures in it.
