Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi
5.0
Phew...what a journey!!!! Tomi Adeyemi has created a world I am so excited to return to in book two, and will likely revisit in book one beforehand.
I do not even consider myself to be an avid YA and/or fantasy reader, but I think this novel will speak to anyone who loves a generational redemption tale meshed with a coming-of-age narrative. This cliffhanger was brutal, but at least we only have a bit longer to wait.
Between Children of Virtue and Vegeance coming out in March, and GOT returning in April, it looks like Spring 2019 will be a time to remember!!!
