Burn Our Bodies Down by Rory Power

5.0

CW: abuse, violence, gore, horror

this book is weird, and absolutely stunning. its a tense novel full of strained and abusive familial relationships, secrets, a queer MC, and unnatural things happening to some of the land in Phalene. it goes from a dramatic dark story of secrets and mystery and turns into horror-ville wtf-ness in the last third of the book that I absolutely loved. this was the perfect book for October.

and this cover and title make so much more sense in the end of it all. stunning. Rory Power is turning into one of my all time favourite authors with every book she writes.
