Wow. A masterpiece at its finest.
This book tackles very real problems, especially racism and police brutality. May I add, this is a MUST read for anyone. I felt so broken knowing that I'm reading a story where humans lives are on the line despite it not being their fault, it's the world. I wanted to stand up for them. I just wanted to jump in between the pages and fight back. Everything was so well written, I can't find one complaint at all. Angie Thomas is an incredible author.
