This is the first in Rose’s Lunar series.

Basic plot:
Anna gets a choice between being a mechanic, a farmer, and a rut specialist for her new career post Earth-abduction.

Give this a try if you want:

My thoughts:
The Intergalactic Union rescues abducted humans from Earth and houses them at a secure station – they are not allowed to return to Earth since Earth’s space contact is too primitive. Our heroine, Anna, gets a choice between being a mechanic, a farmer, or a rut specialist. Sex work is what she chooses – her lack of intimate contact after a failed marriage making her eager for a partner, for a time at least.

I really enjoyed this novel! I found Jaris to be so endearing and relatable with his anxiety. His relationship with Anne is really sweet and perfect and they are on of those couples I’m left thinking are just perfect for each other.

This is a lower angst read, which is a nice change sometimes from all the emotional turmoil I like to put my heart through. These two are so caring to each other and so respectful of each other’s feelings and wants. So, so sweet.

The steam in this one is pretty frequent. It’s explicit enough, but the scenes are pretty short.
