“I hate him. I love him. I f*cking hate that I love him.”
“All I did was trade one prison for another.”
“I tried to chase the sun, but my sunshine is blackened and it leaves me in too much darkness.”

I’m speechless and don’t know where to start. This book was amazing, and I need the next one immediately. I could have never guessed that this was a debut novel.

I was hooked from the first pages, and this book had me in a chokehold. It truly was an emotional roller coaster—there were some really sad and dark moments, but also some really sweet and happy ones. This book made me both cry and laugh.

I loved how the FMC, Collins, grew from a sweet little girl into an incredible, strong woman. Her life wasn’t easy or perfect, but she stayed strong and kept fighting.

The relationship development between the main characters was well-written, and I really enjoyed the slow burn. I loved how understanding and observant Creed was about all of their needs and desires.

Riley was such a sweetheart. He also had a difficult past, and I loved how both Collins and Creed were able to help and heal him.

I also loved the found family element between the characters and would love to learn more about the side characters and their stories.

Overall, a great dark rockstar romance. I can’t wait to read the next book and find out what happens.
