The Trouble with Trying to Date a Murderer by Jennifer Cody

It was an intriguing read, definitely.
And it was funny as hell in some points.
Unfortunately, it wasn't what I expected.. I was thrown into this world that I had no context of and it was just confusing. I guess it could pass as a way to give the reader the same experience as our main character Romily had, but still, it felt like i was thrown into the middle of the story and I had no idea what was happening around me.
Romily, Fox and Bellamy are an interesting family. Romily's background was something else, I swear - only one word says enough: traumatic. Despite that, Romily was lovable, sassy and incredibly okay with all the murdering (don't even ask).

I mean, I haven’t done anything wrong, except maybe now I’m aiding and abetting, but that’s just how the cookie crumbles when the love of your life is so good at killing people.
There were so many time where I was flabbergasted and laughing because of the ridiculousness, but it was a binge worthy read in spite of all the chaos.
I’m not one to judge, but it just feels strange that anyone would bring a sword to what is obviously a gun fight.
Graphic: Death, Sexual content, and Murder
Moderate: Violence and Blood
