I wish I could have liked this better

Received an arc copy from the authors newsletter and honestly disliked both characters so much. I did read the entire book, just hoping it would get better.

Chance is suppose to be depicted as like a hot walking red flag but honestly he’s just so rude and had no character development, there wasn’t anything redeeming about his character or behaviour.

Dakota had potential but honestly why would you continue to fake it and then act like he hung the moon? Very hot and cold, her decisions didn’t make sense.

The ending felt rushed and the event that pushes them together came out of nowhere.

It was an okay read, would recommend if you like the fake dating trope
