This sapphic rom-com novel, with nods to Pride and Prejudice and Bridget Jones, was fun! Elle and Darcy were great protagonists!
This book is pitched as “fake dating to lovers” but the fake dating lasted like two days before they realised there were feelings involved which felt almost like insta-love to me. I would’ve loved if the fake dating was drawn out a bit longer!
The ending also felt quite rushed. The conflict was drawn out over several chapters but then they made up in the space of like three minutes (in my audiobook).
Overall, this book was cute. It wasn’t incredible, but it was enjoyable.
