Macbeth by William Shakespeare

challenging dark emotional mysterious reflective tense fast-paced

5.0

reading and loving dune led me to macbeth (people talking about who was the initial tragic/fallen hero archetype). im forever in awe. the words punch you in the gut, make you sick and leave you there bleeding

obviously im not over here killing scottish kings, but i still feel like you can apply the situations in your life to this story, in so many ways too. so monumental

and of course... this is a play, meant to be watched, but i still want to appreciate it in this format

is this a dagger, which i see before me,
the handle toward my hand? come, let me clutch thee.
i have thee not, and yet i see thee still.

i have thee not. yet i see thee still
